African American Muslims make up the largest ethnic group of Muslims in the United States. The vast majority of African American Muslims are reverts to Islam and their reasons for accepting Islam varies.  Some came to Islam as a result of curiosity, but many embraced Islam during times of personal hardships, coupled with the harsh social, economic, and political conditions in America. Islam was the answer for them and it caused their lives to experience miraculous transformation.

Miracle in America is a national grassroots project that captures and shares the rich history of African American Muslims and their journey to Islam.  Join us at our first event to kick off this important project.  The event will include:

• The viewing of a 15-minute video, featuring clips from interviews with Muslims who talk about their journey to Islam.  The interviewees include:
